1. Research use only

All products supplied by SpecPep are chemical compounds sold exclusively for laboratory and in-vitro research purposes. No product is a drug, food, cosmetic, medical device or dietary supplement. No product is approved for human or veterinary use, and no product is for human consumption of any kind. By placing an order you represent that you are acquiring products in a professional research capacity and that you will not administer them to humans or animals.

2. No medical or dosing guidance

We do not provide dosing, reconstitution, dilution, administration, protocol or therapeutic guidance, and we will not do so on request. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. We are not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy or outsourcing facility as defined by Sections 503A or 503B of the U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old and legally able to form a binding contract. We sell to research organisations, laboratories, academic institutions, contract research organisations and qualified resellers. We reserve the right to refuse, limit or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including where we believe products may be diverted to human use.

4. Your compliance obligations

You are solely responsible for determining whether your purchase, possession, handling, storage, export and intended research use of any product complies with all applicable federal, state, local and international law, and for obtaining any licences or approvals required. Regulatory status varies by jurisdiction and can change.

5. Product specifications

Products are supplied to the specification stated on the applicable Certificate of Analysis for the lot delivered. Specifications on this website are indicative; the COA governs. We warrant that products conform to the COA at the time of shipment. We make no other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Handling & storage

You are responsible for handling products in accordance with good laboratory practice, including appropriate personal protective equipment and storage at the conditions stated on the label. We are not responsible for degradation or non-conformance resulting from improper storage after delivery.

7. Pricing & orders

Prices are subject to change without notice. An order is not accepted until we confirm it in writing. We may correct pricing or description errors at any time, including after an order is placed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any product or these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any damages arising from use of a product in a manner inconsistent with its research-use-only designation.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpecPep, its officers, employees and suppliers from any claim, loss, liability or expense arising from your use, handling, resale or disposal of any product, or from your breach of these terms.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the SpecPep name, logo, product photography and written material, is our property or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without written permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in [VENUE].
